Экс-форвард «Ворсклы», киевского «Динамо», «Днепра» и «Кривбасса» Александр Мелащенко пока так и не определился с местом своей новой работы.
Зимой 31-летний форвард был на сборах с клубом первого российского дивизиона «Волгарь-Газпром» (Астрахань), однако там он не остался. Не получилось у Саши и со столичным «Арсеналом». Освободившееся после травмы Андрея Воробья место форварда занял не он, а его бывший напарник по «Динамо» Максим Шацких. Мелащенко – свободный агент, то есть может достаться своему новому клубу абсолютно бесплатно. Кстати, полтавская «Ворскла» по поводу возвращения в «родные пенаты» к Александру не обращалась. Ну, а проситься в команду родного города самому, по словам футболиста, ему просто-напросто не хочется. Не исключено, что в случае отсутствия серьезных предложений, Мелащенко придется закончить карьеру и заняться чем-нибудь другим.
